Inanna Arthen (Vyrdolak) is an artist, actor, freelance book designer and author of The Vampires of New England Series ( http://vampiresofnewengland.com ): Mortal Touch (2007), The Longer the Fall (2010), and All the Shadows of the Rainbow (2013). Book 4, Human Services, is currently in progress. Her short story, "The Fishman and His Wife" appears in the anthology Twice Upon an Apocalypse (Crystal Lake Publishing, 2017).
Inanna is a lifelong scholar of vampire folklore, fiction and fact who created the non-fiction vampire studies website By Light Unseen ( http://bylightunseen.net ) in 1997. Since 2007 she has run By Light Unseen Media ( http://bylightunseenmedia.com ), an independent press dedicated to publishing vampire fiction and nonfiction. She is a member of Broad Universe, New England Horror Writers, Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) and Independent Publishers of New England (IPNE), and an occasional contributor to Blogcritics.org. She holds an M.Div degree from Harvard and is an outspoken advocate for the Pagan and LGBTQI communities. She is minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Winchendon, MA. She identifies as non-binary genderqueer, but answers to any pronouns that are printable.
